The West Warwick Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to R.I. General Laws 11-37.1.-1 et seq., also known as the Sexual Offender Registration and Community Notification Act. This individual is subject to community notification of his pending release pursuant to RI General Laws 11-37.1-12 of the act, which authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a sex offender's release from prison when the Sex Offender Board of Review determines that the release will enhance public safety and protection.
The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of a sex offense that requires registration with the law enforcement pursuant to RI General Laws 11-37.1-1 et seq.
This offender has served the sentence imposed by the courts. This offender is NOT WANTED by the police at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community. The West Warwick Police Department believes that an informed public is a safer public.
